Actually you got most of JP’s gear right. I just want to add a couple of details. He had 4 Les Pauls 58, 59, a black beauty w/ a bigsby, and a cherry finish les paul. Oh and one more thing his marshall 1959 head was rewired to 200 watts. just thought i would help alittle bit

“cry baby” wah’s aren’t made by vox,any guitar player should know that they’re made by dunlop.don’t call it a “cry baby” if it isn’t a genuine one.if it’s just a vox wah, then call it a vox wah

any guitar player who’s gonna bitch about who makes what wah pedal should also know that Dunlop didn’t always make the cry baby, and that if page even had one it probably wasnt even a dunlop. further more vox wah’s arent just called a ‘vox wah’ the same as a fender stratocaster isnt just called a ‘fender guitar’. there are many different models of vox wah pedals, for instance hendrix used the vox king wah for a while. im not normally so picky about these things but if your gonna have a bitch about it then get ur facts straight first.

Here is a fact: original “crybaby wahs” (1970’s)were manufactured by “Thomas International”; out of Chicago, Ill. They were all “hand wired” units. I have a ‘75 crybaby. Dunlop bought the trademark and reissued them, but they are not hand wired; they have printed circuit boards.(??) To ge t the Page wah sound, you just need a hand wired wah by vox or crybaby. I think they perform and sound the same.
